Overcoming Panic Attacks – Best Steps to Take

stress&anxietyHey everyone.

My last post I covered some proven personal tips for overcoming panic attacks. Now even though these tips greatly benefited me with being able to control my attack episodes, they never really gave me a full closure of not having to deal with them anymore. Before I explained how I spent countless hours searching and taking advice from others just to find out how I can completely get rid of my anxiety.

I personally never did well with the medication I was prescribed to help cope mainly because I was linked better with distracting myself to calm the attacks. And the medication never really did this to take my mind off the things triggering these attacks.

Now with the tons of emails I have been getting asking me what I used to “so call” cure my panic attacks, I wanted to create this blog post for that reason. Now I will say that I didn’t come up with this program for curing panic/anxiety attacks but I will say I am one of those that it has helped and cured to this day (2 years). Below is the link if you would like to check it out:

With most things I tried personally, 7-11 breathing, meditation, etc.. the benefit of completely curing my panic attacks was never present. Yes I did gain a way to control my panic attacks but the fact was, was that I was still having them. They were still a problem in my life and it was just something else I had to concern myself with. So what did I do? I searched and tried until I found an answer to my problem.

Now I do thank my friends and parents to this day for finding me something that worked and worked just like it said it would. Not something that gives you a “maybe it will do this and maybe it will do that”.  And let me tell you, that can become more frustrating than ever when you are desperately looking for something to give you that help. So here again is the link and I’m am sure it can help you as it did me.

Overcome Your Panic and Anxiety Attacks

Doesn’t really get any better than that. I spent days and trying different programs/techniques/ideas to find something that really works. I wish I had a resource like this at the time I was searching.

Well guys/gals, I really hope you find this helpful. Check out the link resources and let me know what you think. Leave a comment or shoot me an email. Like the feed back. :)

Tips for Panic Attacks – 3 Useful Tips That Can Help You

Hey everybody.

I already talked about in my first post how devstating panic attacks can be on someones life. Here I want to give you 3 simple tips for panic attacks that can help you better control some of your episodes. These personally helped me and believe that most of you can benefit as well.

1. The first tip will be that if you can recognize a pattern on what is causing your attacks, then next time you are in the situation to come across this event, think of something that made you happy as a younger adult. Was it going to beach with family, going to get ice cream, camping with your friends? I know when I was in the situtation I would think of happy things which would lessen the anxiety I would experience

2. Another tip that I benefited from was that if you know that you are getting ready to have a panic attack then you can try what is referred to as  7-11 breathing (I will talk more on this in a later post) or drink something hot. Normally I would drink some hot tea. Something that can distract you for the time being and record what you do. When something works, write it down and stick to it.

3. The third tip will be to mentally talk to yourself. Since you are having a panic attack, your body has sensed fear. The symptoms that are occuring are the body trying to protect itself since you are in a state of fear. Mentally assure yourself that you are only feeling a sensation that will not harm you, and put yourself in a positive mode. This also helps train the mind to realize when you are in the same sitaution that this is something happening of no harm.

I hope you benefit from these 3 tips. I know I use to follow them all the time and they would save me alot from embarrasing moments as well. Try them out and remember to do what works for you and to remember situation. That is my exact blue print for a couple years until I found solution that cured me completely from panic attacks. Well thats about it for this post. Remember to leave comments if you would like :) Until next time…..

Overcoming Panic Attacks

Hey guys,

If you have ever had to deal with sudden attacks of anxiety and stress you definitely want to know if its possible to actually overcome. My name is Larry Cowan and I had dealt with panic attacks for two years while in school. I remember the nights staying up having uncontrollable thoughts of being worried for no reason, shortness of breath, and jittery sensations in my hands. I was scared and honestly I didn’t like how these events would happen over and over.

Panic attacks have been known to be a social destroyer if you like to get out and be around people. I did and I know this definitely set me back with enjoying my college years. I felt that if I wanted to overcome these panic attacks that I need to find a legitimate cure. The medicines the Dr. prescribed me didn’t work and various techniques I learned from other sufferers didn’t work either. Probably one of the best things I knew to do to clam my attacks was always concentrating on vacations I had taken in my younger days. I don’t know why that helped a little but it did. Until next time………..
